Veterans Art Show

During National Salute to Veteran Patients Week, Albany Stratton VA Medical Center will be showing works of art created by local Veterans. The free show will include fine art, applied arts and craft kits. There will also be a screening of standout performance art from 2011.
Veteran-created art will be on display Feb. 15 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the third floor auditorium of Albany Stratton VA Medical Center. Local artists will judge the entries and the best works will be submitted to the National Veterans Creative Arts Festival.
The deadline for visual art submissions is January 27. Performing artists who wish to have their work considered will need to be recorded by the VA Recreation Therapy staff by February 24.
