Dr. Raymond Smith – Raymond P. Smith, M.D. is Chief of Infectious Disease and Chief of Medical Service at the Stratton VA Medical Center. His areas of special interest are bacterial infections and HIV Medicine, research in intracellular infections, and education of house staff and students.

Dr. Charles Kennedy – Dr. Charles R. Kennedy is the lead psychologist and coordinator of the Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Program (PTSD) at the Albany VA Medical Center. Possessing over twenty years of clinical and consulting experience, he is a frequently requested speaker in his areas of special interest - PTSD and group psychotherapy. He has also pursued ongoing postdoctoral training in areas like Prolonged Exposure, Cognitive Processing Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. Recent recognitions of Dr. Kennedy’s include the "Unsung Heroes and Heroines" in 2007 and the "Distinguished Federal Government Service Awards" in 2006-2007.

Dr. Laurence Kaminski – is Associate Chief of Staff/Research and Development at the Albany VA. He previously served as the Director of Environmental Research Development at the New York State Department of Health's Wadsworth Center and Professor and Chair of the Department of Environmental Health Sciences, School of Public Health, University at Albany, State University of New York. Dr. Kaminsky's expertise is in drug metabolism and pharmacogenomics - the study of the response to drugs based on a person's genetic makeup. He has over 30 years of research study on drug metabolism and has published over 200 papers. He has been elected to national and international scientific societies including American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics (ASPET) and the International Society for the Study of Xenobiotics (ISSX).

Lori Hoffman Hogg RN, MS, AOCN® is the Cancer Program Director at the Albany VA Medical Center overseeing Hematology, Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Tumor Registry, and the VISN 2 Brachytherapy Program, ensuring state of the art technology and treatment options such as Tomotherapy for Radiation, the first in the Federal system. She is the current liaison for the Department of Veterans Affairs Oncology Nursing Care Focus Group and is a member of the VA’s National Oncology Field Advisory Committee. Lori is the recipient of the VA Medical Center’s Excellence in Nursing Award, a Kizer Grant Money recipient for her commitment to lead innovation and performance excellence, and received the Distinguished Federal Government Service Award. Nationally recognized for her clinical and leadership expertise, Lori is often enlisted to present on topics such as her presentation of "Understanding Oncology Variables" for the National Surgical Quality Improvement Program and "National Initiatives in Oncology Nursing" for VA’s "Oncology Symposium on Emerging Therapeutics".
